Julien Pacaud was born in 1972 and lives in Paris, France. After some cinema studies, he and his friend Jean-Christophe Sanchez founded the "Institut Drahomira", a confidential artistic entity meant to gather their works in varied fields as cinema, music and arts. In addition to his active participation within the "Drahomira Song Orchestra", the official musical body of the group, Julien works mainly since four years at the creation of digital images (collages and manipulations), often exploring surrealist universes, which he enjoys to describe as "perpendicular dreams". In March 2006, he presented his series of the "66 polaroïds that never existed" at the Canadian gallery "Gallery Deluxe Gallery" in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
